Amish White Bread

Ingredients
4 cups warm water
2 tablespoons yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup honey
1 tablespoon salt
10-12 cups bread flour
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast and sugar. Mix until yeast has dissolved and is foamy. Add oil, honey, and salt to mixture stirring until dissolved. Let it rest for 10 minutes. Add flour to mixture until it is the right consistency, and knead for five to eight minutes until it pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Place into a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 45 minutes. Punch dough down and separate into 3 loaves, placing each into a greased loaf pan. Let rise until right above the rim, and place in a preheated oven at 350 F for 30 minutes. Brush tops with butter when done. Makes 36 servings.
